What is remote viewing?

Remote viewing is a structured attempt to describe a hidden target without ordinary sensory access. You work blind. You make a record. Then you look at the feedback.

That is the whole shape. A tasking. A viewer who cannot peek. Marks on a page. A still, a place, or an event you can check later.

The International Remote Viewing Association calls it a structured perceptual method for information beyond ordinary sensory channels. The U.S. programs that used it in the Cold War treated it the same way: a protocol, not a personality.

What a session actually is

Someone picks a target and keeps it sealed. The viewer gets a handle that does not explain the target: coordinates, a code, a letter ID. The viewer records impressions: shapes, textures, sounds, sketches. Searching the handle, or being told the answer, ruins the session.

After the record is closed, there is feedback. In the lab that was often a photograph or a site visit. In GOAT RV it is a still. The still is the teacher. The app does not score you. It does not run AI on the page.

What it is not

It is not a hotline. It is not a personality reading. It is not a trance you have to enter to be “real.” Named methods differ on posture and paperwork. They agree on blindness and a record you can read twice.

A session nobody else can parse can still be a real session. It just cannot travel. Work that stays inside one head does not get applied.

How GOAT RV uses it

GOAT stands for Gestalt Observation & Analysis of Targets. You take a letter ID. You record what arrives while the pages stay dark. You lock. Then you look.

Establishing the Signal is first contact. Full Session is the longer protocol, a short guess, then the still. Practice happens on the Android app. This site is the public page, not a desk.

Remote viewing works. People get better at what they put their mind to. The scarce part is a record a second reader can use.
